The book “Landscape Architecture in Chile, towards a contemporary task”, by the architect Fulvio Rossetti, takes a tour of the development of a discipline that is still incipient in Chile, showing contemporary examples of landscape works of various sizes – from 3200 m² up to 120 hectares – by authors such as Teodoro Fernández, Teresa Moller, Cristina Felsenhardt, Juan Grimm and Myriam Beach among others. In its introduction, it takes a tour of the development of landscaping in Chile, from the first examples of Frenchified parks, passing through certain milestones of the 20th century: Oscar Praguer, Carlos Martner, and the Open City of the UCV, up to an analysis of the contemporary landscaping in Chile.
