On October 10th, 2018, Teresa delivered the master lecture “Unveiling the Landscape” at the Aula Magna of the Concepción campus of the University of Bío Bío. It is worth highlighting her joy at receiving the first national invitation to present her work.
During the lecture, she showcased her landscape interventions carried out in different countries, including Chile, Germany, China, and Italy. Teresa explained the idea and rationale behind each project and emphasized the importance of identifying where interventions are genuinely necessary and where they are not.
The lecture emphasized how Teresa uses simplicity, relying on minimal elements, to create an extraordinary bridge between space and humanity. She also highlighted the relevance of listening to and understanding each place to develop projects that benefit people and highlight the value, beauty, and uniqueness of each space.
The event was organized by the Faculty of Architecture, Construction, and Design of UBB and was part of the Innova Corfo project, focusing on the sustainability assessment of public spaces.
